This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber component supports operation in temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for servicing. The discharge is configured in a top center line orientation.
The pump uses a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It is configured with a JM frame style with feet and supports 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and features across the line starting. This equipment has a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.97.
