This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal assembly featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections as well as flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 2900 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a TEFC enclosure with a terminal strip. The motor is configured with a NEMA 184 frame and is suitable for a 380-415V, 50Hz, 3PH power supply. It features an across-the-line starting option and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard.
