This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter. The unit is equipped with a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft, a slip-on shaft sleeve, and flush seal line taps. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 184 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 380/60/3 power supply using an across-the-line starting method. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly has a PEI of 0.89. The motor is compliant with NEMA standards and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
