This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design. The discharge is positioned at the top center line to facilitate self-venting and reduce piping strain.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a 324 JM frame style including mounting feet. The motor is rated for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates in a 40°C ambient environment with a counter-clockwise rotation and has a PEI of 0.92.
