This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and gauge ports for suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 213 frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.91 and an HI Energy Rating of 9, suitable for a 40°C ambient temperature.
