This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The pump is equipped with a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which operates at temperatures up to 250 °F. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the unit includes flush seal line taps for the installation of a filter.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and uses across the line starting. The motor is built on a 284 frame in a JM style with feet and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump meets NEMA standards for a 40 °C ambient temperature and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. It has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9. The top center line discharge configuration assists in simplifying piping layouts and provides self-venting capabilities.
