This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It is equipped with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.89 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation.
