This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge configuration. The unit uses a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" diameter stainless steel impeller. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F in clean water systems. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and provides flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is built on a 256T NEMA frame and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and maintains a PEI of 0.93.
