This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump operates at temperatures up to 250°F and includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that permits servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. Power supply requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH, with a starting option of across the line and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor rotation is CCW. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
