This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction port and a 6" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. It uses a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, suitable for operating temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are integrated into the assembly, which utilizes a rear pullout design and top center line discharge.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. The motor is a TEFC, NEMA JM frame style with feet, meeting MG1-12.55 standards. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The unit features an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C and a counter-clockwise rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
