This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. It is configured with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing connected piping, and the casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP, 1750 RPM WEG TEFC motor housed in a 286 JM frame with feet. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation. This equipment has a pump efficiency index of 0.93.
