This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid and does not include a wear ring.
The pump is powered by a 50 HP WEG ODP motor in a 326 T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. Additional specifications include across the line starting, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 40°C ambient rating. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
