This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid movement. The internal assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal incorporates a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components to manage fluid at pressures up to 125 PSI.
Powered by a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the assembly utilizes Aegis grounding and a 208V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.45. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
