This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 10" suction and an 8" discharge. It is equipped with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and includes ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP WEG ODP motor in a NEMA 405T frame. The electrical configuration is 460/60/3. The assembly includes a welded base with a drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. It features greasable bearings, an AEGIS SGR, and an insulated bearing at the non-drive end. The pump meets NEMA standards and has a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.94. Across the line starting is supported, and the unit is configured for 40°C ambient operation with counter-clockwise rotation.
