This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. It is equipped with a mechanical seal utilizing a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of handling clean water up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump is powered by a 20 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure, configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power at 1750 RPM. It features a JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature. The system uses an across-the-line starting configuration and has a PEI of 0.92.
