This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump unit is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. It functions at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and connects to the motor using a Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and has a PEI of 0.94.
