This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. It includes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The rear pullout configuration allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. The motor is housed in a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover and is built in a 213 JM frame with feet. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3 power and uses across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and features a DOE PEI of 0.89.
