This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and an 11" nominal impeller diameter. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are included to accommodate an optional filter, and the unit incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pull-out design allows for internal servicing without disturbing the connected system piping.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG Super E premium efficiency motor. It is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor features a TEFC enclosure and is built in a 256 JM frame with feet. This pump meets MG1-12.55 standards and has a PEI value of 0.97. The top center line discharge design assists in piping layouts and makes the pump self-venting.
