This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting system fluid. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the piping, and the top centerline discharge supports self-venting. It also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor motor featuring a TEFC enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM with an 11" nominal impeller diameter and is rated for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and utilizes an across the line starting option. It features CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
