This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly also includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
The system operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 324TS NEMA frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
