This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. It includes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 184 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across-the-line starting and a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings, and the unit has a PEI of 0.86.
