This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The design uses a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and includes standard pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 145 T frame. The system operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power. This ODP motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperature. The assembly features an across the line starting option, a Woods coupler, and a welded base with an integrated drip pan and coupler guard. The equipment meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
