It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The impeller is balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3 specifications for operation in clean water applications.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured in a NEMA 182T frame and accepts 230-460/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. It features premium efficiency ratings meeting MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor using a Woods coupler. This configuration provides a DOE PEI of 0.86.
