This Taco FI Series frame-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain the dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the pump design facilitates maintenance through a replaceable shaft sleeve.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor in a 184T NEMA frame. The motor is a TEFC enclosure with premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3PH, with an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This unit maintains an ambient operating temperature rating of 40 °C and has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
