This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, and it utilizes a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. A bronze shaft sleeve is used, and the assembly incorporates a mechanical seal with a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber components. This pump handles clean water at temperatures up to 300°F. The design includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout configuration. The top center-line discharge simplifies piping layouts and allows for self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP TEFC WEG motor. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and features a NEMA 254 JM style motor frame with feet. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit utilizes an across the line starting option and has a PEI of 0.9. The close-coupled design mounts directly to the motor, and the configuration prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft.
