This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It utilizes a dry shaft design consisting of a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly is composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 213 T-frame. It operates at 3450 RPM with a 230-460/60/3 power supply and across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The pump has a PEI value of 0.85.
