This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design. The top center line discharge configuration facilitates piping layouts and pump self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor motor in a 256JM frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM with a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly functions at a 40°C ambient temperature and features counter-clockwise rotation. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
