This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The design includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided on the casing to facilitate maintenance.
This pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 182 T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.88. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient operation with CCW rotation.
