This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly incorporates a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is configured with a 30 HP Baldor motor in a 286 JM frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit functions at a 40°C ambient temperature with standard CCW rotation. The motor utilizes across the line starting and the pump maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
