This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump incorporates greasable bearings and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
