This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 254 frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Electrical configuration is 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz, utilizing across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard.
