This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump design utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly features a dry shaft construction and is equipped with greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP, 200V, 3PH, 60Hz Baldor motor. The motor is an ODP, NEMA 145 T-frame configuration that meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and connects to the motor via a Woods coupler covered by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This assembly is configured for across-the-line starting and has a DOE PEI of 0.85.
