This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal configuration operates at temperatures up to 250 °F and utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 100 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a 405TS NEMA frame with a TEFC enclosure. It requires a 460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The assembly is configured with a welded base featuring an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and complies with MG1-12.55 standards. This model has a PEI of 0.94 and supports across-the-line starting.
