This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. This unit is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP, 230-460/60/3PH TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA T frame 256 style manufactured by WEG, rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. This configuration meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94. The system is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a coupler guard. The motor is set for across the line starting and features AEGIS shaft grounding.
