This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluids and includes flush seal line taps. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is driven by a 5 HP, 3450 RPM motor housed in an ODP enclosure. The unit uses a 182 JM motor frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power configuration is 230-460/60/3PH, operating at a 40 °C ambient temperature and meeting NEMA standards. The motor adheres to MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.89 and is configured with across-the-line starting.
