This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The pump includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 182 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across-the-line starting capability. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler with a protective guard. The bearing frame contains greasable bearings, and the unit maintains a PEI of 0.85.
