This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and an 8" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump assembly includes a bronze wear ring and ANSI Class 125 flanges. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft configuration and greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 150 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 445T frame. It is configured for a 460/60/3 power supply and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. Additional components include an AEGIS SGR, an insulated bearing at the non-drive end, and CCW rotation. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.94 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
