This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping.
This pump is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features a 324 JM motor frame with feet. The motor is NEMA standard and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, utilizing AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with standard CCW rotation. The PEI value is 0.94. Across the line starting is used.
