This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and uses an across the line starting option. The motor is built on a 145 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump features a rear pullout design for servicing and has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
