This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces piping strain.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 3450 RPM and uses a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards, features premium efficiency as defined by MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and operates with CCW rotation. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.87.
