This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. A dry shaft design protects the pump shaft from the circulating fluid, while flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter. The unit provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an 184JM frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply with a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. The motor meets NEMA standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly achieves premium efficiency in accordance with MG1-12.55 and carries a PEI of 0.92. The rotation is configured as counter-clockwise.
