This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction and 5" discharge. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The design uses a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 20 HP, 1750 RPM WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T frame, operating on 380V, 3PH power. This Super E premium efficiency motor meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler. The system features across the line starting and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
