This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 10" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with a bronze wear ring. The casing is made of cast iron, and the unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft configuration and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 215 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH electrical input with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A standard Woods flexible coupler connects the pump to the motor, which utilizes greasable bearings. This unit is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
