This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent system fluid contact with the shaft and a rear pullout configuration to allow servicing without disturbing system piping. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. Integrated flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 5 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured for a 575/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor uses a 184 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This unit has a PEI value of 0.87 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
