This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction port and 1-1/4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The construction incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame TEFC enclosure. The motor is rated for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. It is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a standard Woods flexible coupler for connection. The system is configured for across-the-line starting at a 40°C ambient temperature. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
