This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and cover, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. Integral flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are provided for system monitoring and maintenance.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and 284 JM frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with a 40°C ambient rating. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It uses a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to facilitate piping layouts. The pump is configured for across-the-line starting and holds a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
