This base-mounted centrifugal end suction pump integrates a class 30 cast iron casing with an integrally cast mounting feet design and centerline discharge. The hydraulic assembly utilizes a bronze impeller dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3. Its construction incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve within a dry shaft configuration that isolates circulating fluid from the shaft. A mechanical seal comprising ceramic seats and EPT rubber components provides fluid containment at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit accommodates system pressures reaching 125 PSI.
The pump operates with a 10 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor at 1750 RPM, utilizing Aegis grounding and a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.46. The S series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
