This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for gauge installation.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a 254 T-frame style, requires 230-460/60/3PH power, and features an across-the-line starting configuration. It meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
