This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. It incorporates a dry shaft design and greasable bearings mounted within the bearing frame.
The pump is driven by a 2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame configuration. It operates on 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the standard Woods coupling. The equipment meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment, and the PEI is 0.88.
