This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and 4" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is utilized, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings to support the rotating assembly.
The pump is powered by a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 256 T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 380V/60Hz/3PH power supply and features an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump complies with NEMA standards and meets premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The unit has a PEI of 0.97.
